Got ya…here is the link to a study. I have read that taking Metformin outside the protein synthesis window. Ben Greenfield has some good information on this.

It seems to be that this study is really aimed at having 65 and older use PRT which is good.
My only issue with the study is who funded it there notorious for propaganda against any compound used as a PED.
You soon to be a doctor im sure have seen more than a couple of bunk studies that are just paid for to find exactly what they want not an actual study to find out what happens.
It could be true that this group might not have gained enough muscle to biopsy. We are talking about 65 and older. If you’re fully able to still workout I believe that Metformin can be a tool used especially along side hgh and other peptides to gain muscle mass through burning and using carbs without holding the weight.

I have looked into it a couple times in the past but never went forward with its use.

You’re welcome! I searched “metformin and muscle gain” and found several articles about the subject. I just don’t want you to get discouraged when your gains don’t correlate with your efforts. Metformin is an awesome, cheap drug for diabetes and longevity. If I find anything else I’ll post it. Knock ‘em dead brother!
