I realize I’m not really good at doing a slow and steady weight loss so I decided to hire my friend as coach to do my workouts and diet for me. With him being local he’ll make sure that I’m getting to the gym and following the diet. I told him give me 2 weeks of consistent gym going then we will dive right in. I’m going to plan on it being 2 months and reassess if I wan to keep going or go back to heavy weights
 
A coach is great for accountability in a hard cut.

I used to think I could get away with a little cheating but once you send those check ins and your coach is like “Are you sure you’ve been following the diet”? You change your tune real quick 😂
 
Good deal man! I think it’s a good thing, if you need that extra push and want to put all of the thinking on someone else. I sometimes wish I had one, so I don’t have to plan out my meals, workouts, macros, etc.
 
Who said hard cut I’m going from fat to less fat then we shall see if I want to do hard cut. I also told my coach I use for pl that if I return to sport I’ll come back but I needed somebody local for this.

Yeah had a good leg day and then had about 3 too many beers at cookout but 405 was moving great for 5 on high bar. Juat messaged coach that we should be all good to start next Monday. Will be interesting to see what my diet is like.
