Something different

Am a bodybuilding head and that is all i do, even as i teach 2 martial art classes a week i just stretch out and i keep it mostly on demonstrations and coaching, not like am really training for martial arts. Have you ever included something different in your training that you think improves your level as a bbuilder, like swimming or cross fit or something else?

I always include a little bit of boxing sparring and calisthenic workouts into my weightlifting throughout my cycle I truly believe that it helps build your stamina and if you build your stamina you’ll be able to lift more heavyweight

I have included many things over the years and each had its benefits…

Swimming, rucksack hiking, sparring, martial arts, yoga, weighted cardio, etc.

There are three muscle attributes- strength, stamina and endurance. I believe that doing one thing makes me better at doing another thing and vice versa.

I think as we age it is important to look towards longevity and overall health. We all know the benefits of physical activity and that does not need to be limited to resistance training.

If you need any help brother just hit me up anytime you can send me a PM and I’ll guide you in the right direction. Exactly which sponsor are you trying to get a price list from?

When doing cardio its never steady state…I really don’t get much from it. Its always HIIT, Bootcanp, or interval sprints up hill or steps. In a way it kinda has the same principle as the martial arts…short, fast, quick bursts of speed. I get more from 30 mins of that than I would twice as long with steady state.
