It’s only 13 weeks. So one guy has gotten around the eating rule by making like 6-8 chicken or steak tortilla roll ups. He grabs one and walks to his desk. Almost done by the time he gets there. I think that’s going to have to be the move.
No way. That’s dirt. I haven’t gone over 275 on bench in ages. Guess I should get the slingshot out and push some heavier weight to see if I can get the boobies to grow.
I’m right there with you. I did multiple sets today of 265 x4 or 5. Feeling quite sore. But one of these days, I need to put the slingshot on and go for 315 again or my all-time max of 335.
Last npp run I got up to 315x13 I think It was. I’d have to go back and look. That was heavy. And my shoulder hurt for a week, and I was like why am I doing this? This makes me hurt after. And I just went back down and have stayed. I think I’ll have to buy a bigger sling shot. :roll_eyes:
Haha that’s what the charts say! I’ve no desire to put myself under that kind of weight haha my shoulder wouldn’t handle it well I don’t think. I’ve been injury free for the longest period of my life over the last 3 years and I’d like to keep it that way!
I was just the opposite years ago. The reverse formula from my max had me repping way more than I could actually do. I guess because I trained for “power” so long, I just didn’t have the multiple rep strength…above 3 or so reps.
