Whats everyone doing for the fourth? I’m personally planning a max out in the am of possible and then cooking some crawfish bread and etouffee. Its hotter than hell down here in louisiana so I’m sure I’ll have some swamp ass to go with it! Haha

I’m working all weekend but it went from high 90s to 60 and rain the last two days. Tomorrow don’t look much better lol

I love Louisiana but in winter. I love the food there man that crawfish etouffe is awesome. I love it on rice.

Best fishing I ever did was in the saltwater bayou there with a guy named Jochamo and he set us up in some honey holes. We got 75 sea trout, a bunch of red fish and black drum. Well over 100 fish total. And those fish taste outstanding too!! Had them froze and overnighted back home to Wisconsin

Just gonna cook and go to beach.

Need to get a chance to go bow fishing for gar in the swamps. Some of the most fun around. Just hard to drink because you eat just as many bugs as you drink. Guess its a good source of protein lol.

I’m hanging out with my family,BBQ all sorts of good stuff,my immediate family is big.We got a few things to cook,
Prime Rib,Chic Kabobs,clams,calamari,burgers,hot dogs. My dad is hosting which means my wife and I hosting also.

My middle son coached offensive line for a division I college team in Louisiana for a year. He said the humidity and mosquitos were unbearable.
