I think I’ll just talk to him. Remember the nail bruise I had I showed him and he said it looks like fungus or a bruise but I’ll get you checked he gets me whatever test he just thought it was weird I asked for estro, but I’ll see how the convo goes
Im really happy that you decided to talk to him let him know be honest he is your doctor you need him to know everything god forbid something bad happens the er will eventually call your physician to possibly figure something out and you will be happy for him to be able to give them the correct information to save you that’s a bit dramatic but its a good call brother.
Be honest. That’s my advice. If your not comfortable talking to him then look on line for “sports medicine” doc. Or ask for a endo. Always open up with “can I talk to you openly without judgement?” If he says depends or on what subject, it’s time to look for a new doc. If he is not prescribing test to you. It’s no skin off his/her ass. I just kept it straight. Boggles my mind why they would ask “why?” Just fucking do it. He’ll tell him you read an article on high estrogen in men and wanted to check. Good luck.
My opinion on doctors is the same as my opinion on the world’s population…only a small percent are good at what they do and are qualified to be doing it. If this wasn’t true, why is seeking out multiple consensus’ from doctors/surgeons such common practice?
Hmmmm I know the common mindset here is to tell your doctor and be honest with them…But anything you tell them does get documented in your medical file, which could, at some point, be requested by insurance agencies as part of the underwriting process. I’m weary of having anything documented that could come back to damn me.
