Blood-work: A Year in Review, advice needed, and a mea culpa

Looking for feedback on these blood-work numbers and why the total test numbers are going down with similar dosage from last year while on TRT Pharmacy Test. Most of my year was spent rehabbing from a torn patella will trying to maintain muscle mass, then needing to recomp because of no cardio for 6 months. Is the drop in total test due to compound interaction, desensitisation, or something else? @NeuroRN @TG

I also want to extend a mea culpa to @Flashlabs. These numbers indicate that your gear was not the issue.

So it’s seem if test is about same with flash and pharma maybe he wasn’t underdosed

I just have missed it. Wonder if the clomid juat isn’t working as well as it was. Sucks either way

  1. Going by the data, the new numbers suggests something else is going on for sure.
  2. Yes, I got the 1st vaccine in early October, and the 2nd in early November of this year. And it is likly I had Covid after Christmas as well.

It’s actually quite possible the vaccine may have effected your levels. There’s some research showing it is tanking men’s test levels even those on HRT.

I can’t remember the normal SHBG levels but that is a pretty significant swing. Your liver appears to be working double time. And it’s angry about it.

If you’re not using glutathione I would. Tudca. NAC if you can find it. If you can’t check on alpha lipoid acid.

I would give your liver some love. No alcohol. No orals. Take multiple liver supports. Or take your concerns to the doc. Those are some heavy swings across the board.

Those SHBG levels are worrisome. That can be an indicator of all kind of nasties.

Diabetes is a big one.

This is interesting. I just started digging and am reading a study on LH damage from it. It mentions the potential cause as high angiotensin isn’t that what you were recommending the telmasartin for? Very interesting

Low SHBG. Can be caused by lots of things insulin resistance diabetes too much hgh opiates. Liver disease extended anabolic use. Alcohol, any number of crazy meds. thing is when it’s low it hinders your body’s ability to use, transfer, convert, make different whore- moans. I’m gonna play devils advocate why is estrogen so low too much AI CRASHED ESTROGEN notice your test is higher when estro is lower when it’s low also liver is doing something. Pills, alcohol, is your iron high? I wonder my body rides on the high side of estrogen or a little high when I feel good when I get to low 30’s or less I feel like ass.

Drugs that Raise SHBG via Increasing Prolactin:
  • Antipsychotics (both typical and atypical)
  • Antidepressants (SSRIs, Tricyclics, MAO-Is)
  • Xanax and Buspar
  • H2 Antagonists (Cimetidine, Ranitidine)
  • Morphine
  • Some Antihypertensives
Drugs that Raise SHBG:
  • Raloxifene (Evista)
  • Tamoxifen
  • Spironolactone
  • Anticonvulsants (Phenytoin)
  • Oral (but not transdermal) estradiol
  • Ethinyl estradiol (oral contraceptives)
  • Metformin
  • Exogenous insulin in Type 2 DM
  • Coffee!
Drugs that Suppress SHBG:
  • Progestins
  • Glucocorticoids
  • Exogenous insulin in Type I DM
Genetics
  • Some people have a genetic variation in their SHBG structure that slows or speeds its degradation leading to high or low levels. Current research projects are studying specific SHBG SNPs with regard to risk of Type 2 diabetes

This referenced article suggests having Covid lowered testosterone in some men but there is no reference to the vaccine. Has any found any articles linking the vaccine to a similar condition? I haven’t been able to find anything

Just saw this now. I’m going to read up on this.

I guess the question would have to be asked if the problem is really men with lower test tend to be more obedient and got the vaccine?
