@Kad1, that would be great. I’m similar, but worse: I have full thickness irreparable tears of the suprspinatus, infraspinatus and subscapular tendons in my right shoulder, leaving only teres minor intact (and a bit oversized in fact because it has to make up for the others). I also have arthritis in that shoulder, and they tell me that in 3-5 years, I’ll need a complete shoulder replacement. But it’s been nearly three years since they first said that, and my shoulder has only grown stronger and pain free. The real bugaboo is weakness on DB lifts. I have to be extremely careful to balance the DB just right because if it wobbles, I have to drop it immediately. In short, I can’t stabilize the DB as much as I’d like. I will say that over the past two weeks, I’ve started doing weighted dips again and have benefitted tremendously from them in terms of being able to stabilize my DB lifts.
In any event, whatever tips for rehabbing the shoulder and avoiding replacement, I would be greatly appreciative of.
