Cannot lose this body fat

BrandonIron

Regular
So I’ve been running test, deca and tren a. Deca and test for a month. I’ve been told that my diet isn’t right for muscle gains, which I get, but it’s helping my fiancé a ton so I’m going to stay on it with her. It’s the keto diet. I do I take a ton of protein with it, and a bowl of oatmeal before each workout. But anyways, even in doing this diet, I cannot lose this layer of fat around my stomach. Any suggestions?

How many carbs are you staying within daily on keto? What’s your calorie count for the day and how deep into ketosis are you measuring with ketone strips?

Btw 1 cup of dry oats is 58grams of carbs so your most likely not even in Ketosis as it is. Your pulling yourself out and not on a keto diet.

I stay under 20 except for the pre workout oats (which I have only recently started doing, just to make good use of the gear) We have a blood ketone meter, and I stay between 1.5 and 3.0.

That would put most people out of keto range for sure if taking in that much carbs daily. 30g or more pulls me out of range and I test daily. 50g is max I’ve heard of anyone doing and staying in keto.

Try going full carnivore style for a bit. Should be easy and can still maintain same foods as your fiance. Keep in mind most those Instagram keto feeds for recipes are all bullshit numbers on carbs.

You need to break down your meals and keep fats before workout. Try doing cardio in morning before breakfast as usual.

You shouldn’t be having any trouble losing the fat unless you are taking in a ridiculously high amount of fats which some people do.

Another thing to look at is your cycle. I wouldn’t use deca and trenA together. You don’t need the carbs for use of gear. I did full Keto diet during prep a couple of times and didn’t use any carbs. You can modify Keto and use the carbs before workout but then you’re doing more of a low carb diet versus full on Keto.

You’re using a cutter with a bulker. Not a good mix at all. As we say that’s murphed up lol. But seriously look at what @TG said get your diet (Keto) in check then drop the deca maybe pick up npp or eq

You have great advice from the guys here… I would try, if your lifestyle allows, two low impact cardio sessions per day in conjunction with less than 20 grms of carbs per day. One should be am fasted. I typically do this during the months of March-June to get lean from winter …Has been my go to for 15+ years…bike, Incline treadmill at about 4.2 pace, slow tread climber, etc. Watch some of Jay cutlers videos on YouTube … he does 2x45 min of low impact cardio per day… easily use 600-800 calories

Running two 19nor compounds can get a bit tricky, especially if the dosing is high. You gotta look at what you want your end result to be and decide what compound would best suit it. Typically guys like to run Tren A to cut or prep and Deca to build and bulk. Deca is a very wet aas and for me at least I hold alot of water on it. I did try Tren this past year for the first time to bulk. Got great results but I really had to stuff my face with food to gain considerable size off it. The nutrition partitioning of Tren is outta this world.

Can’t beat the classics for a full all out bulk bro. Test/Deca/Dbol that’s for compounds. But the fact is, if you want to grow, you gotta eat. No way around it. 5000 + calories with a shit load of protein and carbs. I’ve said it and many others have said it. “You bulk or cut in the kitchen.” Period.

You could try to main line a Big Mac?! Obviously I’m joking. Don’t do that. Being that you are new(er) to cycling and AAS I would honestly just say to be patient. Increase your caloric intake, go to strictly compound lifts and match your Test and Deca. Something like 500/500. There’s really no need to go higher than that for most regular guys

I only started dropping weight in keto while on tren when my fat macros were greater than protein. I was paranoid about 1g to 1lb and was static for six weeks until feeling brave enough to increase fats and lower protein. The tren can be confusing on a diet, for me it recomps rather than drops weight. (a good thing but not if you are looking to lose weight 0

Liposuctiion should help with that belly fat you can’t lose 😉👌 & its permanent or at least last a long time lol
I sometimes bulk while on keto, gain more muscle that way & lose more fat… I love keto except that its hard to stay own for longer than 8-12 weeks or so for me

I love it, my fiancé has figured out how to make the best meals that are keto friendly. She cooks 3 meals a day for me. I couldn’t do it without her!

Keto is gr8 for losing large amounts of weight quickly. The downside is you WILL lose muscle.
Oh… and the trots!

I’ve never lost muscle or strength on keto, as long as I keep my calories high. Yes the muscle do look flat on keto but just because its depleted of glycogen, once you start eating carbs again they’d fill back up lol
but also consider that any kind of diet to introduce weight loss risks muscle lose as well especially if done naturally

I’d take out the deca and maybe throw mast in to the mix?
Do you count calories? I get it’s not so much the amount vs the type within the keto plan… But maybe something to consider…
Fasted cardio works wonders…
