I’ve tho if this about using the patches. I’ve read nicotine is beneficial for the brain it’s all the other shit in tobacco that’s bad
 
I think the only bad thing about nicotine is it’s a stimulant and addictive. The cancer causing is usually just from smoking/chew not the nicotine itself

Atta boy. Actually nicotine is a nootropic. Appetite suppressant and increase metabolism. I’ve read of some folks using it during fast workouts. Just the nicotine. Not tobacco.
 
Ok @NeuroRN I’ve got several questions…i dipped like a fiend for better than 35 years. I quit 6-7 years ago or so. Been on the lozenges since. I can’t shake them. Are they that bad for me? I abuse them at times…like twice the recommended dosage…how bad is that? Long term?
 
Brother bless you if you can walk away from smoking dipping nicotine. Just quitting the smokes is a big accomplishment!
 
I dip and smoke both. I am honestly sick of how it fucks with my endurance. Not smoking during Covid is a good start but I have a long ass road ahead of me. I know those mornings are coming when I have my first cup of coffee and the sun is rising and the wind is just right how perfect that smoke use to be with this coffee. Lol. Or when I walk by someone outside and get a whiff it’s gonna be hard. @Poppy

Hmmm not sure to be honest. Positive nootropic effects were in small doses.

Health standpoint- I have no idea. Any abuse of a substance constantly long term wouldn’t produce positive outcomes I don’t imagine.

Mentality standpoint- what benefit are you receiving from abusing nicotine? Are you personally okay with being dependent on a substance? (I say substance as a non-physiologically native substance- trt, insulin, etc would be different)

I can’t speak to the health of it.
 
Damn bro ya it sucks!! It’s a weird ass virus man. Sweating then chills then sweating then chills. Shaking and just feeling weird like going through detox sometimes. Hope you kick it soon. I took zinc(with food) vitamin e, super b complex, C, lots of D3, potassium, magnesium, and tumeric. All good for immune system. Plus the extra electrolytes cause my muscles kept cramping. Get some Pedialyte or liquid IV or Gatorade at least. Helped a lot.
 
I’m going to socially distance from this thread before i catch it just as I’m feeling almost normal
 
I mean my normal if I can just get a few good nights of sleep i May start seeing gainz again. Hate that I basically wasted a full cycle cause of bad decisions but I guess hit did help me lean some so positives to be found in everythjng
