Gaining the insight

Please don’t be a stranger. If you want to start this journey this is honestly the best board out there.

Use the magnifying glass to look up questions. If the thread is old, ask it again. Science and information changes all the time. So someone may have no insight.

To put everything in perspective. These two fellas @Kad1 and @USMCInfantryBrothers are actively competitive bb’s and weigh about what you weigh. Extremely lean like way into the single digits lean.

As @NeuroRN stated. Please don’t be a stranger.

To be honest, there’s a large number of folks that come here for advice and don’t get exactly what they want to hear and drop off. There’s many nuances associated with the enhanced life and being educated will serve you well now and a long way down the road.

To be clear. You do NOT have to be on juice to participate on this board. There’s many of us that are on some very boring basic compounds that would be laughable elsewhere on the some of the other boards where “more is better”.

I appreciate all the advice. It’s something I’ve thought about but shied away from due to ignorance and not knowing where to go for the right info. Seems like I’ve found a good place to learn

So if I were you here’s the route I would take:
  1. Keep a food log of literally everything you eat and drink. Find out where your macros are falling and then most likely increase them to maximize gains.
  2. Find a good program that prioritizes your goals and incorporates progressive overloading.
  3. Get lab work to know where your test levels and general health stands. Private md labs dot com allows you to pick your labs.
Good deal. I copied @NeuroRN 3 step plan. Stay the course… read ask questions read some more.

It’s scary at first. You will find a wide array of perspectives and insights here. The biggest and best thing you can do is learn all you can before hand.

Thank you! I’ve been told guys will take things to further lower their T levels before going to the Dr for labs. Is this something that’s beneficial or being the first time I’m trying this should I just go in as is?

I’ll also add imho that this stuff isn’t magic. It requires dedication, patience, and hard work. IF you do it the right way over time it will be life changing. The funny thing is…You won’t even know it. It’s sneaky like that.

Which camp do you think you may fall in based on your personality and goals?

a) bigger.faster.more

b) healthy.slow.steady

The app i use is my fitness pal. It’s free and has one heckuva search engine/data base for most everything you can consume.

Been ising it for a couple of years. I don’t pay attention to their “goals”. I just use it for my input and my goals. Below you’ll see an example. Disregard the goals column. That’s every little crumb i stuff in my pie hole.

There’s others out there that orher users utilize. I found this to be easy and simple.

Most folks are surprised (including me) after only one week of how far off they are of their estimated intake.

It only works if you’re brutally honest with it. Carbs n fats add up quick.

Great advice you are getting here. First and foremost, you have to determine whether you are going to have kids. Second, you need to determine whether you are ready to go on TRT for life. Answers to those two questions will dictate a lot.

Assuming that you do not intend to have any more kids and you are prepared to go on TRT for life (if that proves necessary), then:
  1. Get labs for total and free testosterone, estradiol, LSH, FSH, cholesterol, liver values (AST, ALT, etc.), kidney function and so on. Learn how to read your labs or have a doctor who will work with you on this endeavor.
  2. Count your macros, especial protein. Most people dramatically undereat the ideal level of daily protein, which is about .8g to 1g per pound of bodyweight. You need at least 150 grams or protein each day IMHO. Minimize the protein that comes from shakes and bars, eating as much whole food as you can.
  3. Don’t know your workout routine, but for both beginners and advanced lifters who are stuck and need to move up the weight ladder, a 5x5 program is very effective. But as @Kad1 said, what matters most is intensity in the gym. Push yourself.

We have a virgin, this is very exciting!

If you have insurance and a primary care physician tell him you wanna get your testosterone level checked out and get all your lab work done and lined up maybe it will be low enough that he will write you a prescription for testosterone so that way you can do it legitimately and just add a few things on top.

There’s a few people on here that they basically tell you blast away and takeoff for the moon Whicj most likely would 100% of us done when we were younger and not as educated or informed.

I have pushed in just about every single oil that’s been made with the exception of Sust I’ve never tried it I just thought it was dumb. I did it all while doing CrossFit and very little bodybuilding movements, I had decent success with my strength and my endurance however my diet was shit so I was never able to lose that ice covering the six pack, then I’ve ventured to clenbuterol and T3 that stripped it off of me in about three months and here I am sitting 41 years old, roughly about 230 pounds 6’1.5” and possible thyroid issues because I just can’t shed the fat.

For the past month or two I’ve been on 100-125mg Rx test 2xs a week with 60-80mg of Flash Tren E 2xs a week also & 25mg Tbol when I remember to take it.

I am 100% much more satisfied with taking low-dose testosterone and Tren rather then blasting it. I go to the gym three times a week more when I’m able to but because of my fucked up work schedules I just can’t make it happen.

Even though I’m taking Tren I’m still able to get my 2 to 4 miles in twice a week and sustain a 7 to 9 minute mile.

Diet is definitely fucking key and if you fuck up your thyroid it’s going to make things 10 times more difficult because once your thyroid is fucked the theory of calories in and calories out just does not exist anymore.

Do you also have a very good bass you should be able to put that muscle on quicker than expected even if you do ultra low doses
