Camping, it’s been raining since yesterday afternoon, little breaks here and there,I decided it’s no fun, packed up went home, my sister/boyfriend/ kid and the other couple left also,also my sister called me a pussy, half serious half jokin,but I took it personal and said, your calling the guy that went to iraq a pussy? I told piss off bro… were still gonna grill later and have my whole family over,get some horseshoes in if it stops raining
I do. Love hate relationship with it, but not sure I really could live anywhere else.
I totally get this sensitivity. It’s the one thing that really can’t be joked about. I was not there, but I know enough about what it must have been like to have the ultimate respect for you and your brethren. I had a brief opportunity to serve in the reserve when I was 26 and still super healthy, but my then wife put the kabash on it, given that we had just had our first son. I very much regret that.
