My kids loved setting the tent up inside when they were little. Then they graduated to putting the tent on the deck. Lol

It’s funny I see pictures of nature and think I kiss the hustle and bustle of the city. Walking out my door and being able to go meet people I know at so many different places. No real plan just a group deciding where drinks are consumed that afternoon. Feels like I’m missing out living in small rural suburb town will no real social life for people my age when you don’t have kids.

Ya kids change everything. Your life starts to revolve around their schedule and interests. But it’s more fun then serving our own interests. I remember being single and not having a social life definitely sucked.

Yeah the kids thing isn’t happening unless I adopt. Which I’m not sure after getting my past that would be a go

Well you never know. Look at @John he loves and treats his step daughter like she is his own blood. And thank God he is there for her so she has a real dad in him.

That would involve me finding a woman that I want to be around long term

We got some rain early this morning. Our rain gauge says 1/2 inch. Much needed. Could of rained all day and not hurt anything.

Hopefully someday brother. But I know a few guys who are single their whole life also and are very happy being single. So

Well it’s true brother @John . You teach her to hunt and fish and shoot and you coach for her team and you include her in everything. Just like me and my kids. Not too many step dads like that. Shit I’m reluctant to even call you a step dad. Cause your a real dad.

you right there ain’t any step to it if your raising them they are your kids biologically or not. I didn’t understand this till I had my boy who I love but I tell you I have the same love for my x wife’s daughter I just didn’t have anything else to compare it to at the time. Your doing something that will make more of a difference than making one you are being there for them teaching them showing love compassion discipline. Respect. That’s dad material in my book

I spent it chilling with my wife and son he just wants to be by my side doesn’t matter what we do. I played with him with his toys watched a movie. I have had a lot of late work and it shows on him. There is a fine line between giving him all the stuff I never had a being there which I never had either. He got a little fishing rod and bait bucket for his birthday o want to take him fishing we have a little pond out in the cow pasture stocked with. Bass catfish as big as us and lots of hybrid bream that are the size of both your palms beside each other they fight like bass
