How does someone go about getting bitcoin?

Hey guys . I would like to buy bitcoin to make transactions online easier . Can anyone give me advice and trusted services? Thank you

Localbitcoins is an excellent way to purchase bitcoin with cash, anonymously. Used it a few times, never any issues. The only issues I have with purchasing bitcoin is the fluctuations in price.

Honestly bitcoin is the easiest to use for newbies. I still use it. It links right in with your bank account and you can trade it instantly no waiting. They have an app for your phone that makes it really easy also. There are lots of platforms out there that @TG prefers but for me coinbase is super easy and I’ve never had an issue with them

I was very nervous at first but it was actually easy

It’s easy once you get verified with it. Takes a few days but worth it. Your transactions are easy and you can do it straight from phone. Message me if you need help I don’t mind helping you.

The only issue with coinbase is really transaction fees and time frame… depending on how you purchase your btc. If you set it up with your checking account the fees aren’t as bad but I believe it’s like a 5 to 7 day wait for your btc to arrive. If you set it up with your debit card (not credit card) the fees can get really expensive but your btc is available immediately. But as with any transaction with bitcoin it also comes down to how much risk are you willing to take? The fee might be lower with your checking account but bitcoin can bottom out in the 5 to 7 days your waiting and then you’ve lost more money than if you would have bought with a debit card for a slightly higher fee…

That’s my problem . I want to have a good accepted form of payment. I hate going to western union and using echecks

It’s a tough call bro, I’d rather do the cryptocurrency over WU, and personally it’s kinda fun if you enjoy playing the risk vs reward game with btc. If you do enough research on it before buying into it you can play it like the stock market and make some quick money. I bought into it last year at about $4k per coin, and it jumped to about $18k per coin in about a month… but now it’s back down and hovers around $6-7k per coin…

Yea last year you could make money in it. Now you can’t to up and down not worth investing into any more. Best is to buy your bitcoin and send it to the desired wallet ASAP so you don’t lose money.

That’s exactly what I do now… once it fell threw the floor I backed off trying to hold on to it at all costs

Mycellium wallet has a local trader built in. Also using an ATM with a fake ID is great but more expensive.

Some people have success with local bitcoins but others dont.

Its not that Im against exchanges but it cant be done anonymously that way. Exchanges ask for ID and will link that wallet your name and bank accounts. If not done carefully they can track all the bitcoins you sent as easy as a credit card.

I actually believe because of the blockchain it might be even easier to track once you let them know who and how much.

Ive never gotten that far into it, but some forensic examiners say its extremely easy and they contract to the feds to teach their agents how to do it. There was a paper by one of them that detailed it all.
