It makes you not hungry WHILE actively lowering blood sugar. When it first hit we had a wave of folks in for hypoglycemia. Had a nurse go unconscious in the bathroom at work on it. Make sure you are checking your blood sugar while taking it and keeping simple and complex carbs on hand.

Welcome to UGM. Straight up diet and exercise always worked for me. I’ve lost a ton of weight and put on substantial muscle mass but I also have been running gear. I don’t think it’s as easy for women though. All guys really need to get in shape beyond the obvious is a little test most of the time. My only suggestion is to hit a wall or a plateau before running anything, this will also make any gear work better and your lifestyle will already be disciplined and on point. Good luck, Erin Go Bragh

It’s not very popular on here but since your options are limited (b/c girl)…did anyone recommend looking at a SARM like MK2866 (aka Ostarine) at 10mg a day x 6 wks? That could be the mild, low side effect, safe(ish) helper you need to break on thru that plateau if intent on going down this road. The trainer i see every few months recommends it to many of his female clients.

@Maggiemay There are a lot of anabolic options for women that don’t involve male derived hormones and won’t risk virilization. Stuff like hgh, insulin and others should be pursued before steroids. TeamEvilGSP has several videos and content sections devoted to women looking to maximize performance

That said, being a bodybuilder is all about nutrition. Full stop you gotta focus on learning to get your nutrition down FIRST. Also, you sound like the kind of person who diets WAYYYyy too long — a perpetual dieter. If this sounds like you, click here and read this.. Tldr don’t diet forever — spend an even amount of time dieting and at maintenance and cycle between to two to lose fat long term

Please feel free to comment on my log or hit me up anytime. I used to be really fat so I feel I can help you as long as you don’t have any health problems that would preclude you from losing weight.
