Do you get differential pay for odd shift? We got 7% for 2nd shift 3:30-11:45 pm and 10% for 3rd 11:30-7:30.

No I’m my line of work kinda comes with the job. But I did get holiday pay for working Xmas eve and Xmas. But all shifts pay the same to me.
I also am partners in a store and I spend my three days off there working. So kinda busy and hopefully retire early. Lol. 15 more years.

I been off since thanksgiving thanks to my holidays vacation time and the covid I have to go back to work tomorrow and it’s going to suck but on the other hand I’m ready I’m a creature of habit I like a full schedule spent a lot of time with the family it was needed. For sure

I tried to work that schedule and it broke me I couldn’t come back from the 5-3 to work the 11-9
Sleep schedule was crazy and I tried to make it by using modalert didn’t work.

Once they deem I’m
Trained I’ll back on nights. Sucks I’ll just be getting used to days by then

I don’t know how anyone flips schedules like that. If I don’t work all my nights in a row… I’m not working, I can’t handle that flip flop very well.

Although… got 13 weeks on dayshift starting next week. I bet I still don’t sleep normal after all these years on nights. At least the wife is coming to days with me so that should help.

Second is my preferrred shift I can
Get up and take care business I. The morning before work

It’s a 12 hour shift. 5 to 5 . One week of days one week of nights. If there is no OT there is a seven day break in the month. You don’t always get it but it’s nice when you do.
