Looking for supplement recommendations

I have a busy work schedule so I am going to find it difficult to eat at a caloric surplus and hit the daily protein goal of at least 200g with solely just food. I was looking at a protein powder and also a weight gainer to hit the surplus without hitting up a fast food joint to obtain the calories. Any recommendations on which brand? Does brand even matter? And is there any other supplement that would be worth using such as creatine? Price isn’t a factor so hit me with the best haha

I’m currently using GNC’s Mass Gainer. It’s delicious. Loaded with carbs and protein. It also already has creatine in it as well. Plus it’s not expensive.

if price is not a factor look for real food options brother, a local owned restaurant that will prep for you, or pay someone to bring you food, or even some of the meal prep places from online, I have used a few of them in my time to get me through busy times, protein powders are only used for post workout and to get you out of a missed meal or something like that but do not ever plan on them being a staple if you can help it

I use GNC pure isolate. Stay away from anything with casein as a main ingredient, you’ll just bloat and shit it out. There’s a couple with creatine in them, but that isn’t for me. I mix mine with egg whites, you can by that at any grocery store for an added boost and real protein added to it. Anything with whey protein isolate you will be good and it will cost more just look at the label to make sure Also I add peanut Butter powder to my shakes. 😂 Remember. This is a supplement not a replacement. Real food is always the best.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I’ve seen the peanut butter powder before and that does sound like a pretty good mix with a chocolate flavor. I’ll look into the meal prepping as well. A few years back I remember going on a surplus and just found it difficult to down 3,000 + calories only consuming food, at least clean food that is. I definitely don’t want to rely on supplements to meet goals, however I would like to have them on hand just in case the situation arises where I will not be able to eat a proper meal.

I loved this stuff but the creatine just makes me into a sponge. I hold water so bad, I wish they made it without creatine… Or if they do, let me know!!!

I really enjoy the chocolate pb powder from pbfit its a great product I make a couple different things out of it and I will add water and use it as a spread.
Great product brother

Caloric surplus all clean food definitely can be a bit challenging. Like everyone else said protein powder should just be a supplement into your diet, but can help. I buy 2LB package of 96/4 lean ground beef and eat 1LB As a meal chopped up with side of sugar free ketchup or sugar free BBQ sauce on the side for sanity. Just the beef Comes out to 560 cals 96 G’s protein helps me hit the 200 daily protein intake goal with ease. Cook it up the night before, and throw it into a Togo container for the next day.

Usually just stick to beef and chicken, one of my buddies just recommended bison, never tried it. Got my usual go to’s. That good ol Basic body builder food regime I’ve been doing for years, still trying to acclimate my new gf to the lifestyle haha.
