Hey guys. Figured I’d drop a line and say hi.
I’m from the US. 5’5 bout 190 40 years old.
Been lifting most my adult life. Also retired mma. I was on team viper out of Lincoln Nebraska for 3 years.
Been out of the gym for 2 years due to divorce and a move to Florida. Just get back to the gym as we speak.
I was also a staff member over at Steroidencylopedia for many years before they closed shop. So if there’s any of you from old SE here hit me up. My User Name over there was Coryarnold…

Hey, bro. Ex mma, huh? Cool. I was on 'ology and staff at Steroid til they got a little too hypocritical for me.
Been in Tampa since 2005 from Cbus and visited Coleman’s Hammer House many times.

Ya man I was just an amateur. Did boxing, Muay Thai and bjj. Got me through some tough times but was never interested in taking it farther than that. Never got known or anything other then a little reputation props in my little home town. Honestly I’m just a gym rat. Or at least getting back to being one lol

How long ago where you at steroid encyclopedia? I was good up to bout 4 years ago… ya man they did get funny and hypocritical… then shortly after they changed names and burnt us in memberships. I had a lifetime membership and was a mvp/stalf member but guess that didn’t matter when it switched over. Anywhoo… that was then and there and this is here and now

Damn, sorry for the delay. Just now saw this. Still getting used to the site. Need to turn notifications back on.
Yeah, I’ve been here since 2005. Love it. And I lucked out cause my gym(north Tampa Powerhouse) is right around the corner from my place. It’s a gym’s gym with amatuer and some pro’s there. It’s hardcore with old school equipment. Owner is former BB and cool as hell. Very reasonable rates, too.
I was at Steroid from 2004-2013. Offered Monitor position in 2008. It was a great place and a lot of good guys and gals. I learned a lot. But the hypocrisy got to me too much. So I just left. Still talk to a few guys.
That was my only real site. Didn’t have time or need to go anywhere else. But, I did a lot of good over there if you know what I mean.
But, those days are long gone and like you, this place seems cool as hell, so here I am.
Recognize some of the sponsors, so that’s cool too. I had one I used exclusively but since my return, his prices are just ridiculous now and nose up in the air a little too much for me. I’ll find someone who’s been around and hopefully around for around long time. Cause I’m not going anywhere and I use a good bit of gear. Haha…
