So I started working on the pipeline and my question is I don’t have time for cardio. I’m up at 3:15am at gym by 3:50 lifting til 5 then I drive a little over an hour to work. And I’m working 10 hour shifts 6 days a week. So when I get home by 6 I eat shower and go to sleep.by 7. I know cardio is important to cut weight. So should I switch up my routine. This is my split right now… Monday/chest Tuesday/back Wednesday/shoulders traps Thursday/arms Friday/legs and Saturday/abs.

I went off this calculator even tho it never puts the macros right I feel like

Also had to post pone my physical therapy for my shoulders so I’ll be looking into exercises to do for them myself until then. I haven’t done anything to make them hurt in the last week everything been really light or I don’t even do certain lifts

Imo @John hit the nail on the head above.

Work sleep strength training is important.

If you absolutely can’t live without cardio then do like @John said and do some short hiit after your weight training.

Be careful brother. You’re burning the candle at both ends. Usually something’s gotta give.

Dude I’m pretty much spotting for an operate this week hahah it’s just hot af out. Heat index was 108 yesterday and supposed to be at 110 today 🥵

I know brother… a lot of you guys work hard. I did too up into my forties, then landed a good half desk job until retirement. Now I fly a desk 100%.

Take care of yourself on the job. Hydrate and stay safe.

Tbh as long as your job keeps you active all day, you’re probably good. Maybe consider getting an activity tracker so you can ensure your activity stays consistent. Can’t fail with one of those watching you. I bet you get at least 15-18k steps in per day, which would put you in the highly active category.
