It’s easier than you think. A family has the advantage of knowing the layout of the home. You are not clearing the home, you are protecting. So CQB changes from clearing to a defensive posture. I wouldn’t expect my kids to know how to clear a home. But they do know the basics of home defense. How to set defensive postures at door ways. Hallways and make the fatal funnel for a room if pushed into a single room home. Last defense in a room with one window and one door. Some basic stuff.

Absolute fucking insanity!

My wife, and kids are all pretty damn good with pistols, rifles, and shot guns. My wife and daughter can out shoot me in a skeet shoot every damn time we go, which is multiple times a year. I do need to step up their pistol training however, but they impress me none the less.
