Yep. New guy got hired and I have to train him and look at some proprietary info that can’t leave the building. For some reason our building is in a total dead zone…all carriers.
Khakis loafers and a polo…bahhhhjh. I like my shorts and wife beater. Hahaha
Blow the pic up and you’ll see the pegs the bands are wrapped around… there’s holes in the rack to place the pegs in. Move the bench fore/aft to keep the bar in YOUR preferred path.
The peg closest to under the bar is in the second hole. With the benched pushed up under the bar where i like it… the bar travel is where i prefer it. If you were training with me… you might have to push or pull the bench one way or another or slide up or down on the bench to get the bar path where YOU like it.
Gotcha Im stupid I looked at the picture not even thinking that once you lift the bar its going to be right above your chest and the bands are straight up and down.
Bands are brutal…I believe the general rule is a couple of weeks maybe 3 and thats it for a while. They’re very hard on your joints if used to excess. Where as the chains will completely deload at the bottom. Easier on the joints.
I prefer the chains myself and they just look so darn cool when they’re all piled up under the bar.
I believe that the towel threw me off because I thought at first it was a Smith machine but I remember seeing a picture of your rack and it isn’t a Smith. I just need to take more than a second when I look lol just moving to fast lol
I have used chains and I enjoyed using them they are a great addition. The bands ive tried to do a couple things with but assisted pull-ups was all I ended up using them for
