I’m born and raised in Florida! I was just thinking the other day my next move will probably be somewhere near the ocean. My folks moved to Jacksonville about a year ago and lots of the folks I grew up with moved to Tampa/St. Pete.

I would love to live full time in the keys!

Bro the stories of folks awake but paralyzed in surgery. Or folks I’ve talked to who remember their whole time on the ventilator freak me out.

Oh hell, I took you for a mid westerner all day. We are working towards our dream of retiring in the Keys some day. RV, House Boat, etc., we don’t care.

We live in South Tampa and live it. It’s become one of the pricier places to live on southeast coast and especially priciest in Florida. Even shadowing Miami these days on cost of living.

Bring it down and I’ll get you a job in a heart beat. You’re both seriously needed down here, but really what larger city doesn’t need nurses, providers, etc.

I applied for Dry Torgtugas National Park artist in residency for 2025. You live in the lighthouse and it’s just you on loggerhead island for a month. I’ll blow the mountains so fast for a chance to live in the keys for a month for freee.

I was just in Atlanta a couple weeks ago, stepping off back into that humidity was somethinggggg special.

Do it! Let the ice trim you down and shave you to the skin. See if you go a few weeks before needing it and you can judge how often.

My back hair could give you a run for your money these days. I haven’t shaved anything since I haven’t been able to workout for two months. I got a cortisone shot in my spine a few days ago which relieved about 20% of the pain. Better than nothing. The doctor said don’t do anything weight bearing and do lift weights, only stretching but I think I’ll try push-ups. Hopefully I can do them.
