500 is probably fine for the average Joe. Training. Working. Sweating. Gear. Etc. it will deplete taurine quicker. Even if you only added in 2grams It would help.
Creatinine can be thrown off by muscle mass. I would see if your doctor would order you a Cystatin C test. It’s a better indicator of actual kidney health and helps calculate a more accurate EGFR.
Ok… my victory lap is over. I consumed over 200 grams of carbs yesterday. I quit counting after supper… the 3 tarts put me way over my usual count.
Back to the grind. My good labs have motivated me.
@rdm I did manage to get a full 2 liters of water in prior to blood draw that morning at 7am. I woke at 4 am on accident… kinda mad because no food!!! BUT I did as you suggested and sucked down water. Thank you for your support.
Big takeaway for me… more water… zero oral peds (I got a buddy locally that’s getting ready to get a heck of a deal on my tbol stash). Starting astragalus as soon as the delivery gets here.
Most importantly…don’t be hard headed… listen to suggestions from others.
