Hahaha. Yuck!!! Ok. I take it back. I’ll work with the youngsters. But honestly my mom was a nurse for over thirty years. The stuff y’all have to deal with and the amount of money hospitals bring in I’d say your underpaid.
Sounds like you and the mrs are doing it right. I was always told as a nurse and you don’t have too terribly much tying you down, that traveling is the money maker.
The project I am working on now and the reason it pays so well is because it’s a hospital. I see all the crazy amounts of money being wasted by the big contractors and most of which are union (not wanting to start a union war here) but ya… they can definitely pay nurses better. In today’s world and with all the bs they have to deal with and the amount of responsibility they have I see no reason why a experienced nurse shouldn’t be making six figures in a normal situation. Without traveling. @NeuroRN@Poppy
I would love too lol. I don’t think it would be good for my drinking problem though. I hate dealing with boards. I use to have to deal with town boards on a regular basis and I think I got drunk after just about every meeting. There will always be at least one or two individuals that need to make a name for themselves and that’s all they seem to care about. Oh and then there is always that one guy or girl that needs to explain their logic as they debate a situation you know the one that talks out their thought process and takes twenty minutes to tell you the sewer needs to be five feet lower to meet laterals that are gravity fed. Hahaha stupid people.
Good. I’m glad he took it!!! I’d hate for him to get burned out. I don’t think we’d ever find anyone else that could do his job as diligently and without any biased as well as he does it.
another thing. If I did become the CEO of a hospital the first thing I would do is cut my salary from $300,000,000 per year to maybe two million and spread it out into incentives.
I love it sit back and collect that money brother your doing great a foreman under 25yr old is it the owners son?
I don’t know of any other way to become a foreman that young. Maybe college for construction??
