I follow the bodybuilding circuit loosely anymore … had the chance to pics of Shawn at the Pittsburgh show this weekend. Google and take a look… I’m a Shawn fan, but wow he looked realllllllly bad. I’ve seen Jay, Ronnie, and Phil guest pose at this show over the years and all were in far superior conditioning 4.5 months of the Olympia. I get he is 45 years old, but doesn’t even look close to being ready to defend his title.strong text

It was common for many pros to do this. Such as guys like Lee Priest, Jay Cutler, Roelly Winklar, even Phil Heath. I think it’s way too early to even try to cut him out. @PHD what are your thoughts brother?

Well let me first ask has any of you guys competed? Do you know what it takes to get in that kind of condition?

Shawn is still in offseason. No reason for him to be contest ready right now. What matters is how he shows up for the Olympia. Jim makes these guys guest pose at this show it’s required. So Shawn has no choice especially being mr O. Plus Shawn gets ready quick and he will be the most peeled guy come the Olympia.

Not sure didn’t hear that. I mean the man knew he had to guest pose so he decided to show up that way. I know I’ve been asked to guest pose and I’ve declined due to being offseason. Why should he cut his offseason short just for a guest posing. He doesn’t win money for that he wins money for the O. So honestly it’s no concern how he looks to

No one even knows if Phil is doing it. I wish kai would do it but he most likely won’t. He will just tease he’s doing it.

Well if he was on the fence, knowing how crazy of a competitor he is. After he saw Shawn’s pictures I would be shocked if he doesn’t compete! Kai received an invitation, correct?
