Yeah can go upper/lower 2x a week. But yeah that sometimes makes the workouts long with that kind of split. But it’s pretty popular for 4 workout days per week. I’ve oersonally never ran upper/lower. Just bro split and PPL
 
I was reading up on the Power Hypertrophy Upper Lower (P.H.U.L.) Workout that @Fifty3 posted the other day. It looked pretty solid. 4 day upper lower. Power building

The site claims its 45-60 minutes per session.

This is Kinda what RNmuscle talked about. Two days of strength. Two days Hypertrophy. Hmmm intrigued.
 
I liked it until I got… huuuuhhhh….”older”…then I just couldn’t do the volume anymore.
 
I have yet to get through that workout in under and hour.! Closer to hour 15 …Maybe I rest too much. 1.5 hours with a partner… almost too fast… 4 sets is tough but I really read it after a few months and realized some were meant for 3 sets.

Leg day sucks for me but is the fastest for me.

But maybe because I do squats, dead’s, Bulgarian split squats, and calves and not leg curls or extensions because I don’t have the equipment. (Ordered it last night though)

My joints aren’t a huge fan of this anymore either. But this workout test e and 3400 calories took me from 170 to 200 in 90 days

I may stick with it and do just 3 sets going forward except for the first lift of the next muscle group…. Bench, shoulders dead’s squats for warm up
