Stomach pains lately

So been having some abdominal pain for the last few weeks in my right abdomen and my left abdomen a bit. and finally went to the doctor. they said I could probably have an ulcer again and an inflamed stomach so there giving me “Carafate” for ulcer. And “Prilosec“ for my stomach. I’ve had these issues before but that was years ago when I was drinking and partying all the time. And this time the acid never really came up my throat so it didn’t feel like that. He said tho it could just be sitting in my stomach this time. Hopefully these help again. Idk what would have caused em to come back again. Doc said we’ll give this I trial run for a bit and see if it helps before an ultra scan. He said since I had a scan in my gallbladder I’m 2019 he didn’t think that was an issue. So hopefully these help and I can have a regular poop again lol

If your insurance covers the ultra scan Id push him for it. Better to be more sure of what your dealing with then waste time if its not the same issue and taking medications you may not need. You may also find out other stuff going on as well.

Yeah I had these issues in the past but they went away when I stopped drinking and partying. I’m kinda think that might be why I’ve spent the last couple weeks stuck at 196lbs as well. I talked to him about it and if the meds don’t work then scans will be next.
