He was an interesting guy. Working 2nd shift for all those years. I watched a lot of the late night talk shows. Some dudes surprised me on how smart…others not so much.
 
Will never forget Ali v. Foreman, when Ali played “rope a dope” to the max for 7 rounds, then KO’d Foreman in the 8th. I was pulling for Ali as a kid and didn’t understand why he was being so defensive and timid. Wow. What a fight.
 
Upper body build a back train rolls on.

Wide gripe pull downs x 5 sets.
Narrow grip pull downs x 5 sets.
Barbell bent over row x 5 sets.
Cable face pull x 4 sets.
Neutral grip flat bench x 5 sets
Neutral grip incline bench x 5 sets.
Dips x 5 sets.

Goal of all reps will be 10-12.
 
Looking at the pic of you in the ali tshirt… you’re already broad across the back/shoulders…now it’s just getting bigger!
 
Haha! I appreciate that sir. I more so feel like it has a little bit of catching up to do with my anterior chain. In order to fit into the suit I never wore… I had to workout back and legs with more of a Maintnence mindset. I’m excited to have some more carbs in the tank and move some heavier weight. All my suits have to be altered now anyway! 😂😂
 
You ain’t kidding. I just try to hop on sales when they happen. My wife always “complains” and messes with me that I have more clothes that her. When we were down in the Caribbean I said I bet your glad I had all these clothes- all those clothes woulda looked real dumb after I dropped almost 20 lbs 😂😂
 
Reading your workout routines makes me feel like I’m overdoing it or spending too much time in the gym each day. I try to get done in ample time, but I don’t feel like I’m getting a good workout if I’m not doing at least 4-5 exercises for primary and at least 3 exercises for secondary. (i.e. Back & Bi’s)

Probably a mental thing, but I just feel like I have more in me, even with being off all stuff for last 4+ months.
 
Im dying right now because I should be wearing a shirt size xxl on top and a xl on the bottom of my torso. Im basically stuck between sizes and then all clothes fit differently lol so one xl might fit while another xl I can’t even pull on lol wtf smh lol

I have actually ripped 2 shirts trying to get them off its a struggle lol
 
Hmm it probably is more mental. I try not to model my workouts after any of the pro’s etc.

Most of my theory comes from the RP group. They use a fair amount of actual exercise science to back up their programming. I’ve tweaked it some just Bc I feel like I’ve advanced so much using their stuff and I don’t want to pay for a more advanced program.

I know I bring them up a lot. Only because I’ve used them to get where I am now. I don’t get any promo kick backs from name dropping. I believe they have a superior product.

I’m early in their program. By week 6-7 I’ll be doing 7-9 sets of everything and it will take me two hours to finish a workout.
 
One day I’ll have quads. They started to show yesterday after workout. I’ll have to take pick and start thread on Saturday
 
Over training is a very real thing. I think it’s mental for you. I dont believe you should leave them gym totally wiped out every day. But then again many ppl who are much larger than myself do that very thing every day.

Longevity is a major concern of mine. I try to keep that in the forefront of my goals at all times. I have to workout my muscle groups with only one day of rest in between Bc of my work schedule. So I try not to overtrain.

Kill gem on each day. If I hit a body part once a week then I would obliterate it that day but if I’m doing it multiple times I’ll spread the volume through out make the workouts are hard but I can recover by the next day I hit muscle
