Week 6, Day 1 last night. Squats, and relatively light close grips. Squats was 190 x 5x 5, I went back to a regular oly bar, everything felt good except my right knee. Took a little wider stance than normal to help offset the knee pain and motored through, then 4x2 @ 160 on front squats, was able to hit good depth on these for the first time since my hip surgery. Close grips was 2x10 @ 145 all paused, I didn’t even bother with a warmup as by this point I was fairly loose everywhere already. Accessory was T bar row, lats and delts… my grip is still fairly challenged with my finger injury, but I’m working through it. We’ll see how DL’s go tonight
@Bigmurph ive always had a very strong grip, never ever used straps, didn’t like them, and always figured if I cannot use them in a meet to pull why use them in the gym. This damn finger got me using 3 finger grips, but last night as my pull downs got heavier I could feel the middle finger doing more work…
I wasn’t big into DC. I liked some Marvel, Venom and Morbius, but Spawn was always one of my fav’s, and Lady Death… everyone else was into x-men, and avengers and all the marvel stuff… I just wanted to be different
I still have spawn 1 signed by Todd McFarlane and through probably 30+ I really liked Spawn from day one I have all 3 covers they were badass for there time
I’ve got the complete set of Marvel cards, volume 3 I believe, including the 5 special foil cards. I need to dig those out sometime. And I have the death and rebirth of superman, although I was a fucking idiot and opened both of them, SMH…
