Bodybuilding Against The Grain

As Long as I've seen you on here you've been lifting heavy. I'm definitely the extra rep or set guy. I think I set a good tempo with my workouts being 1hr 15 to 1hr 30 the max. ive tried dorians two warm ups and go routine to "save all the power and energy for the working sets".... Ya, that's not for me. I fair better putting extra sets in for my warm ups. Gradually pyramiding up to my working set weight and then it's working set time. My body feels better this way. The mind to muscle connection it's better set for me in this.

I’m a warmup quickly get to top sets do them then on accessories maybe one light set to get the motion and then right to working sets

I’m confused… your carbs should be the same number no matter the carb source? Are you saying you ate less carbs eating sweet potatoes or just had to eat more volume?

My guess is he was eating same volume and wasn’t getting as many carbs as he thought

Trying to... Wicked burn in the quads though.. must not of went high enough....🤷
Actually makes sense so when get to squats quads have to do all the work. It’s just funny to me as that’s the way I always did then when I was young and wondered why my quads were so shitty

I'm right there with you buddy. I might have a little cuts here and there but my legs are tiny.

Lower back little tight today. It was tight yesterday before leg day. Currently I'm running a pallet machine so I lean across the table and the natural body response is too lean back while leaning against table with my quads. You know, to keep posture. That and squatting 275 probably didn't help any. So I'm eating bunches right in now back to push tomorrow..... Even got some lifting straps for when I'm feeling froggy....
