So I took the leap and got a VPN on my phone to start being better about safety on the internet.

Do you guys have any best practices for this? I’m old and new to all this. Bitcoin was a huge curve but that I have mastered to a degree lol

Stick with Mulvad for privacy and security. Nord for daily usage. Don’t go cheap and look for background on company. Like @USMCInfantryBrothers is going to use Cyber-ghost that company is shady as fuck now and wouldnt trust it. It was sold for 9million to Israeli company known for tracking people and even had to change their name to try and hide the practice.

I use VPN SAFE. More and more I leave it on all the time. I used to only turn it on for certain websites or when making purchases or emailing, but now I just leave it on. Pay a little for the service and get accelerated service. Or use the free and it runs slower. Bit long answer best to use it all the time and listen to @TG He’s the cyber guy. 😁

I’ve always seen CyberGhost in the top 10 for VPN’s.

I was aware of CyberGhost, being sold to the Israel company for 9 million.

I was also aware that they were previously owned by Robert Knapp, whom is German. However, the company was of a Romanian IP address.

Supposedly the name change is because they were bought out and the parent company Kaep, wants to distance itself from a questionable and controversial past.

The basis is this…

Kaep = Crossrider

Crossrider is a company that makes malware in apps.

Malware in Apps + VPN = BAD PRACTICE

Bad Practice + Privacy Conscious People = Skepticism/ Cancellations.
