Dirts tren harder than last time log

I got to be honest I’m thinking of doig heavy squats 6 days iyt of meet with being off work and all the time to rest I should recover. I’ve only really had one heavy day the past three weeks and I’m worried going in they need a better reminder
@Poppy @JB_rD81 what do you think as guy who has comprehend

Me personally… I wouldn’t go balls out. Maybe some heavy doubles.

How has your recovery been? You got 6 days…almost a week so “maybe”.

I was just going to do singles with 20 below my second attempt I just feel anxiety about not hitting my second attempt and wan to feel weight on my back May just hit one and then do walk outs with 700

My squat is so I consistent that I worry I haven’t really gone heavy so I’ve I maxed 2 weeks ago so it will be almost three weeks with no real weight on back I’m just going to
Do 600 today. I’m actually worried it will pin me

Pre-meet jitters.

Completely normal. Just choose your opener’s right. That way your nerves will settle and you can make a reasonable jump for second attempt and go for broke on 3rd.

I promise that in the meet everything is going to either feel real light and your going to blast them or they’ll feel heavy at first and you’ll still blast them.

I’m just going to do it if not im gong to be I. My head already worried about being off work till the day cuae I have zero plans and that just makes me feel depressed that I had to vacation days just so I could change sleep pattern for my meet and I have nobody I can T least just hang out with to relax and not think to myself cUaae I have zero friends here and no women I can try and go on dates with.

@Dirtnasty, typically one week out I wouldn’t go over my opener, and anything inside of 1 week wouldn’t be heavier than 30% for middle rep ranges… no sense in prematurely taxing your body. There’s enough testosterone and adrenaline floating in the air at a meet, usually you’ll get a boost from it.

Ok the issue is I haven’t had any weight on my back in 6 weeks and I’m just nervous squat is my worst and I lost 14 pounds during my depressive state and then had a stomach bug so for a day it’s in my head that I’m going to getting pinned. I’m opening with 550 then probably 600-620 and 650-670 based in feel but I’m not worried bout taxing myself cause there is no fatigue built up except from the two issues maybe

Ok I’ll just go to gym puddle around for aocialising and do the walk outs with the weights for feel no reps just visualiazingand then tan. I think that’s fair compromise

Duck it I’ll train biceps twice and abs a little today they will recover and be fine

I may as well look good for the one one competing and one in attendance haha

Arms and walks outs missed the rerack with 735 on bar lucky I had safety bars right bellow rack my biggest concern is not having back tight with the new arm position. I. Considering since arms are fresh that. May do the put arms in at comp as I know I can hit heavier weight s that way it it could kill lifts after so I’ll do opening wide abs see how I feel. Was nice to have weight on back though no shakes legs

Dude: I’m no powerlifter, but it certainly seems to me that you have built the body to win here. Just gotta get your head straight. You can and will do this. You’re not going to let anyone or anything stand in your way. Say it to yourself again and again, like a mantra. You got this.
