First cycle in ten years

Alright well iv been on here for a while and havent done a cycle yet. Im 35 5’9" about 180. Iv done two cycles previous test e and deca, one with dbol. I was thinking of doing the same cycle again at 600 test e and 300 deca. But im also wondering what else I can add. I want to focus more on strength gains than mass. Im thinking deca for the joint support.
 
I’m of the opinion that great dialed in training will get you stronger.

Testosterone will help but isn’t the end all. Orals will help also but are harsh on the body and imo provide diminishing returns.

Had labs lately?
 
Deca will add plenty of strength. Th biggest part. to strength gains is just prepping you cns. There’s a reason the drug fre guys in pl are closer to non tested athletes than the how it looks for body building. No doubt you will get stronger on gear but just do proper training and yoh shoudl be fine. Also when you mean strength is there rep range is competing something your considering. I’ll say with out competing. I would stay away feom low rep range as higher risk for injury
 
No competitions or anything, just love being in the gym. The last two cycles i wanted to get huge. Young and dumb. When i get back from this deployment i was going to get the labs done. I really was looking for quicker recovery and my shoulder feeling better. But im able to lift as much as i can take, last underway I was doing the phat program. Had some arthritist issues with my shoulder and thought the deca would help so why not do another cycle this winter when we are wearing sweatshirts and no one will notice.
 
@Dirtnasty is right.

Someone somewhere put together some stats using one of the more prestigious powerlifting federations. I remember the tested and untested world records were all very close…like many weight classes had zero percent difference. If I remember correctly…overall…including all classes, all lifts, all total’s…all difference’s were within 10%.

I’m sure there’s some tested folks that were not natural forever… everything can be flawed but the intent and overall point is drugs can get you stronger but not as much as everyone thinks…it’s the training that will make or break you.

Alright, i think im going to continue natural till im in a position to get huge. Been in the service to long to blow up and end up getting in trouble.
 
O yeah, 16 years in so far. Im going to find out what my labs look like and reassess. They destroyed one of my shoulders, I had two surgeries and they said the next steps replacement when i can live with it anymore.
 
Ouch on the shoulder… if there’s a silver lining…it’s the VA owns that and once you retire you might be able to find a better surgeon with alternatives.

16 years…you’re close to retirement and that’s golden.

Lots of the retirees I work with get a portion of their retirement as medical and I believe that’s tax free.
 
Sustanon gives a better kick than test e.
Anadrol gives more strength than dbol.
Deca is perfect!
500mg sustanon
400mg deca
50mg Anadrol
 
Im going to have to change my goals. There isnt enough weight for low reps on the boat. Feels good to have that as a problem.
 
You can get very strong with submaximal weights. As @Dirtnasty said…training your cns to fire efficiently doesn’t require max poundage. Give it a go for a bit… like months then when you get a chance add in a maximal effort day for a bit.
 
I agree 100 percent with @Neuro I used NPP cause joint pain and was hitting PRs. Soon as I came off bam hip injury that no longer allows me to do dead’s or squats. I will use low dose deca for therapeutic but then I have to lift with my brain and not lift real heavy. And the bp157 and tb500 do work over time.
