Food prepping, who does it and how do you do it?

I forgot hard boiled and pickled eggs.

Along with tuna. I work them in throughout the week.

I make every effort to not utilize protein powder. I keep it around and two scoops a day max… if at all.
 
Probably not, I mean I already have BP issues and I wont be 40 until about 12 days,so that’s not good
 
Yes, I keep my sodium under 2g per day, most of the time, but I push it so I need to be more disciplined, I am on meds.
 
I know you already know but that stuff (hypertension) is extremely serious or at least can get that way.

Not being a doom and gloom guy but it seems to me medical problems just multiply as a person ages. You might not get any extras but the ones you drag along with ya just seem to get harder to control.

You guys that use the slow cooker for shredded chicken, got any recipes? I tried to make it with the pressurized feature of an insta-pot and Frank’s red hot and it just wasn’t tender enough. So do you just throw some chicken breasts and Frank’s in the insta-pot and put it on slow cook and let it cook 24 hours? I’m a noob at this, obviously!
 
I do use franks I put that shit on everything lol

Seriously though yes throw the chicken in a slow cooker/rice cooker the instapot to me sucks the wife bought it for me I gave it back to her the only thing I can cook in the instapot that’s amazing is pressure cook your hard boiled eggs.

So throw in chicken pour franks marinara or any liquid that you believe will flavor the chicken well its called braising. So after that just let it sit in there for 6hrs cooking on low is my time after 6hrs I feel like the chicken just becomes mush you want it to pull into small strips.

To pull chicken take two forks and push down on the chicken first almost flattening the piece than start using the forks to pull the chicken stabbing in and pulling apart save some sauce it cooked in because it will dry a bit pour just a little sauce and stir the pulled chicken this will rehydrate it so it isn’t too dry.

I eat one or two a day…
I don’t mind making my breakfast and dinner, it’s the mid day ones that typically kill me…
These makes those mid day meals stupid easy and good…
