To directly answer the question, Metformin fucks with IGF-1 production. In practice, it’s never been found to impede growth on cycle. However in theory it could fuck with growth/maintenance off cycle.
Lower back was starting to feel excessively pumped. Had to back off the hip hinge. This is the Final day of peak week for this meso. After this it’s one week of deload and 3 weeks of resensitization.
I’ll be doing my last full shot on Wednesday before I return to TRT for at least 3 weeks. When the resensitization period is over I will end this log and begin a new macro cycle with a 2-3 month cut.
I’ll be staying on insulin, hgh and Metformin while on my TRT.
I spend a hell of a lot of time on excel as well. I had a spread sheet a couple of weeks ago that was so complicated it kept crashing and saying I needed to install the 64bit version of excel lol
Talked to my coach Mircea Balaj yesterday to get some input on my next cycle. The rest of my protocol he mostly validated as good to go, but wants to make some adjustments.
He suggested dropping the insulin when cutting and using it for a bridge instead.
My next course was going to start as soon as my 3-week resensitization phase is over, but he is suggesting holding off until January.
This means I’ll be getting my next baseline done around Christmas.
This also means I’ll either have to extend my resensitization phase or run half a meso. Currently mulling this.
He suggested reducing the Metformin dose by half (2g → 1g / day).
He suggested switching to a 5 on, 2 off protocol for HGH.
He suggested using a TRT dose of test, 300-600 EQ and 400-600 Mast instead of 400 EQ 400 Mast.
He liked a lot of stuff I’m doing:
RP Diet app is really good according to him and he used it for awhile.
RP Physique templates are also really good and he loves how they’re structured. He suggests to stay on them as long as I can.
Most of my stack was pretty damn good, just made some minor tweaks.
He noted that my Hemocrit and CBC looked great despite relatively huge amounts of test. He thinks this means I’m especially well adapted to running test and stuff from the test family, like EQ and Dbol.
How long have you had a coach? Are they online or do you see them in person? Do they critique your diet as well as the gear and training program? Been on the fence about getting one myself.
@JLee hes new actually. I decided to consult with him regarding my PED usage primarily but he also asked what I was doing on the nutrition and training end of things.
It’s probably more accurate to refer to him as my consultant. At some point I may bring him on as a regular coach, but right now I don’t feel that I need that much attention — I just wanna make sure my PED protocols are on point. he and his tribe (Broderick Chavez et al) are on the bleeding edge and have the qualifications to back them up.
@JLee Yeh! Consulting seems like a better option for me because I know my nutrition and training are good (enough) for my goals. The big mystery is always PED usage. No offense to anyone here, but most of us are guessing and rely on internet hearsay to build our protocols. Having some certainty in this department goes a long way.
