I plan to run it within those lengths of time. You know we will be talking and if anything feels off I’ll let you know and you’ll give me the right advice on how to proceed. You’ve been awesome so far my friend. I truly appreciate it.
No problem, listen to your body it will tell you when you’ve had enough, and ask questions here, not just to me, half the shit I say, I’ve learned from here, and if I can’t help out, I will point you to someone here that can answer
Lats were always a difficult muscle (for me) to establish a strong mind-muscle connection.
That exercise helped.
I also read somewhere to imagine that you’re pulling with your elbows (for any lat exercise). That helped me a lot too.
Good luck!
Yup that was exactly it too. I was holding the bar and released to arch in my back to readjust, and just like that “pop” I was in the deck. Fucked. Injured. & a pathetic little nothing.
Loved doing bent over rows too, felt really good everywhere in lats and upper back, but how my doc explained it is your lower back is carrying majority of load and its very vulnerable.
Also if you do to arm dumbbell pullovers it builds and works on the rib cage and the pectorals make sure you let the lat. Do the work so that you can grow also If you have a Smith machine and you bring the bar down to the lower level you extend your legs out and you do pull UPS reverse in other words you’ll be Hanging from the bar pulling up only your upper body again the bar should be at the lowest level or towards the 2nd or 3rd level of the Smith machine
You’re referring to an Australian pull-up I believe. I did those on the Smith today actually recommended by a trainer friend of mine for lats. Looking forward to the dumbbell pullovers as I’ve only done cable pullovers.
