So I’m 6 weeks lit of surgery on my knee and trained legs today. Put the knee to the test and have to say I was pretty happy. Did very high rep leg press 20-30 reps per set and felt great. Followed with drop sets of leg extensions 20 reps each drop, my quads felt like they were on fire. Finished them up with very light BB squats, first time putting a bar on my back I 2 months. Did 135 for 20 reps right into DB lunges 15 reps per leg. Quads felt awesome! Haven’t had that intensity in some time . Pretty sure I’ll be super sore tomorrow. Hamstring were high rep today also.
4 set of 20 reps prone leg curl dropping right Into another 20 1/2 reps. Awful! Finished with BB rdl 3x 20 reps. All in all very happy with training session today. Quads looked and felt great.
