I like to go around 20wks and then go back to a cruise at 200mg test cyp a wk. Then I usually just wait until im ready physically and personally before I blast again having to get everything together and having the right time to dedicate to the blast.
The reason for me stopping is honestly I don’t want to die from heart issues from running gear for to long of a time. My BP can become a problem depending upon what im running plus bloodwork can show your cholesterol and other levels just out of control.
500mg is pretty much double my cruise. I step down off blast just so my body doesn’t get used to 500. There are guys I know that call 500 cruise. So I guess it’s up to you and how your body reacts. And health issues of course. The older you get the more susceptible to the “bad” side affects. At least that’s my body.
I’m with Johnjaun shoot for 16-20 wks but deponds on how the body feels 20 weeks can be a long time with one cycle and feel like not enough on next plus the repeated stabbing of short waters but I guess some of you actually enjoy a good stick in the rear
Works well for me at nearly 47. I stay around 200 7% and very strong. 2-1/2 BW back squat. 2x BW front squat. 1.5 BW clean and jerk and BW + snatch. Always keep an eye on labs. I tend to produce a lot of RBC so I donate every 6 weeks
