I take some pretty powerful diabetes meds after supper. If I go to bed without enough carbs for the day, I start getting twitchy in my sleep… I sleep walk to the kitchen and gorge. I’ve woke up standing in the middle of the dining room after eating a lot of something stupid…with a belly ache! Hahaha
There’s a bunch of data that shows that fasted cardio is excellent fat loss. So walking while fasted will force your body to tap into its stored energy source…fat.
There’s some debate about fasted cardio. Really my morning fast is just an easy way to reduce calories for my cut goals. Also supposedly increases insulin sensitivity. It’s just the way I’ve done my cuts in the past and it works for me.
I’ve read the pros/cons. I’m doing it …well… because I’ve never done it before. Hahaha set the alarm and if I get up I do it. If not, I’ll do it later.
