Regular
So my schedule is 2:45am wake up get ready, at the gym 3:15 to 4:35. Go change. Drive an hour and ten min to work. I’m always an hour early to get stuff ready. So I eat. My question is. Is it okay that I’m only eating 3x a day?? I’m on my last cut of the year cause I eat breakfast at 6:30, lunch at noon. Then again when I’m off and at home by 6:15. Then I go to lay down at 7pm my sleeps fine I feel great waking up. I’ve never really feel tired. I’ve been having the best workouts with this schedule and pushing my self honestly harder then I ever have and more disciplined then ever. Just wondering if it’s a big deal only getting 3 meals? My two biggest are breakfast and lunch cause I’m at work so I like to have the energy I’m getting 2100 calories. My macros are 40% protein, 40%fat and 20% carbs. But I honestly haven’t been really even eating that many carbs at all so I never hit 20% I mainly just eat a lot of meats everyday, like chicken, turkey, pork chops, eggs, quest protein. At with breaks fast and some fruits. I need to add some veggies in this week. This is my pic from last week at 197.0lbs but now I’m at 195.3lbs I guess my main concern is I don’t want to be hindering any gains or something ya know? I worry a lot 🤣🤣

You gotta do what ya gotta do. If working your hours with that long drive prevents you from eating more then so be it. You might be a little more creative.

Something light on the way to gym…breakfast afterwards sans the protein bar… eat protein bar on the last half of drive to work… lunch at work…snack on drive home… supper at home. Wash rinse repeat.

I think @Dirtnasty said something the other day about getting too much protein in at once. Split that up. Get your whole food protein in at your sit down meals and use the bars or boiled eggs or shakes for drive time.

Yeah he said something yesterday that’s what made me think of it! Lol and damn I never thought about snack on my drive to and from work! Thank you @Poppy!

Personally I don’t like protein powders or bars… it’s a necessary evil for tight schedules. Maybe keep a cooler in your car with measured out egg whites for the drive. Hard boiled eggs always work too.

Yeah I’m going to make something else to eat. I don’t like eating the protein bars or shakes either. I love food and eating hahah I’ve been making everything on sundays cause that’s my day off and during the other 6 days with work I have no time at all. I barely have time when I get home to shower and eat. This has honestly been the hardest schedule I’ve ever done in my life but I’m pretty happy that I haven’t gave up

I probably could have a little more time if I didn’t show up an hour early to work. But I like to make a good impression and these good ole boys see that and I know it impresses them. And it shows my good character and work ethic that I want to be here

Don’t ever give up brother! Fight tooth and nail for your goals.

Egg whites are a good go to. Pure protein and a cup gets ~30 grams of good clean pure protein. Just guzzle it down one cup at a time. @NeuroRN gets the smaller cartons you can kill at once. I haven’t found those here… i get the bigger ones I have to measure out a cup at a time. I’m working from home so it’s convenient. You figure if you get a cup in on each way to work…do the math brother.

Yeah I’m def going to be switching to egg whites this week and only real bad things I put in my body are the c4 energy drinks which I’m stopping Monday and the squincher electrolytes things they have at work. Going to stick with just water. Then I have ketchup that’s 5 calories sugar free, and bbq sauce that’s 10calories that I want to cut out next week as well.

Hahaha darn. You don’t have to starve yourself or make yourself miserable. You have to end up on something sustainable. Then you can cut out stuff occasionally for your cuts.

It’s the quintessential quagmire where as lot’s of folks go on some crazy slash everything out diet and get to where they want but it isn’t sustainable and they bounce back worse than before. You got to find a happy medium and tighten up from there… loosen as needed but be in tune enough to tighten back up before it gets out of hand.

Man! Those are some wise words! Hahah and yeah I just know the sauces aren’t that good while I’m cutting and I know the c4 energy drinks aren’t that good either lol I don’t feel like I’m suffering hahah I just wanna see if I can push myself I guess.

Damn your the same size as me and I’m sitting around 180 175. I’ve been eating enough for two of me lately, so your doing something right
