Yesterday worked out with 110 dumbbells presses for final set. Personal best for me. Could only get four but we’re controlled well and didn’t have to drop weights.
Also started doing sets of deadlifts. Up to below knees pause five secs. Above knees pause 5 seconds. All the way up pause down to above knees pause down to below knees pause then down. Start at 135 finish with 255. Not as fun as normal deadlifts and it’s hard as fuck. But it’s making my form great and making my shoulders and back real strong.
110 is pretty damn good, there’s and awesome video of John Meadows training chest with jay cutler, there only using 100-120s, always makes me feel strong to watch lol!
You know if you watch a lot of those guys training they are not using crazy weights but the form control. And speed are on lock plus really pay attention and you can see them focusing on the muscle they are training and squeezing the shot out of it
I’m all about control during hypertrophy sets. Now my power sets are slow down explode out. When I bench people don’t know what’s happening if it’s first time they spot me. They are so used to people bouncing the bar
I would say you’ll catch up to me but I hope I continue to gain strength as well so a gap stays. Unless I find better gym I do know 130 is as high as I will go. Shitty thing for incline I’m having to work with 95’s till I think 110 is good idea. For reps as the 100 and 105’s went missing
Ya my home gym only has 100s. So when I decided to grab 110s here I was really nervous cause when anyone grabs those weights the whole gym is watching me. I was afraid I couldn’t do it then I would look. Like a dumbass. Thankfully I pulled it off
Yeah I was at planet for first year back in lifting so I skipped db in most pressing the last couple months 75 was just too many reps unless I went at super slow speed
I love Tren. Holy shit when someone said everytime they move their body composition changes. You weren’t kidding. I am already on week three of Tren and it is king. I feel stronger I am so pleased with how my body is looking. Fucking muffin top is shrinking like crazy. I can see my top two abs when I flex. I am excited to see when I finish 8 weeks. My size 38 shorts are starting to fall off. I can wear an xl shirt and it’s only tight on my chest. @Ominous you wanted to here how Tren is working for me cause your starting soon. It’s awesome. Oh yeah brother I love that shit however I used it irresponsibly in the past. Strength gains like a mofo. Feel like hulk. I may try tren ace on my next run. Man I’m glad to hear you are happy with your results. My clothes are to small lol between the new wardrobe and the gear and food a guy can go broke haha
