Tizanidine for back pain?

Anyone have any good/bad experiences? Lower back giving my problems again and I need to see my doc for a shot but hes on vacation for two weeks. Prescribed me this before in emergencies but I see average dose is 2-4mg and he gave me 6mg caps.

I opened a cap and took about a third of it. I didnt want to try too much without knowing more.

Zanaflex… I have used it!

Keep in mind I’m a lightweight when it comes to anything “relax” or “pain killers”…. But it did help me. Lots of h2o and those helped my back spasms a while back.

Nothing major or oversleeping too much on them? If I sleep too long get headaches that are worse lol.

I’m a lightweight brother. Slept like a baby… not overly just lights out

It didn’t seem to do much for me last night. I’ll take a whole capsule this evening and see how I feel.
