Discussion TUDCA for liver health…any others I should consider?

My fellow jacked homies,

I’ll be 50 in January and am trying to be particularly careful with my gear usage. I do 200mg/wk for TRT, but I like to blast a couple times/year. I have all “other” meds on hand (SERMs and AIs).

I’m currently on, and want to make sure I’m doing what I can to minimize risk of liver and kidney damage.

Current cycle:

500mg test p/wk
300mg eq/wk
50mg var/day

I’m taking 250mg/day TUDCA. Any other suggestions? I try to stay away from “proprietary blend” type products and focus on 2-3 individual ingredients that matter the most.

Any help is appreciated!

250mg of tudca, sadly isn’t doing much. You need 2 GRAMS daily of tudca to be effective.

-Glutathione inject 100mg daily. (Require you to have sufficient vitamin E and C levels to be most effective. But is the most effective liver aid for me)
-Synthatek has an excellent liver aid that has lab work backing it up.
-NAC 1+ grams daily.
-The ole MIC combo that’s been around for forever.

Several great options.

You don’t mention anything for kidney help.

Astragalus. Not root extract. The best brand I’ve found with actually people posting lab values correlating is Vitamin Shoppe.
6-8 grams daily.

@Poppy may need to check double wood. I think they are extract. I switched to vitamin shoppe and saw positive changes on my lab work immediately.

I’m in no way telling you what to do… just what worked for me. I lost a substantial amount of weight. Lots of fat. I’m down to ~180 from ~220. Probably a bit too much but all my labs dialed in real good… for me anyways.

Full disclosure… I had/have some nerve damage to my legs so they atrophied real bad. They’re on the comeback now kinda. I have stage 3a chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes. My “needs” are pretty specific. I’m also (clears throat) 60-something.

I’ve also been on 2-4 ius of gh for a while now. Less than a year. Another game changer.

Liv 52 is another good one.

Also, don’t let @Poppy fool ya. He’s so old he walked with the Samurai.

Lol,I see it now, but it's kinda blurry...now you planted the seed of losing my touch, now I gotta be a asshole, and ignore people's pics, and make a comment as to what's in the background of pics

Taste alright I guess. Nothing specific on the container. I'd say it has the remnants of some lemon tea. (Brisk🤔)Have to shake the mess out of the bottle for it to dissolve .Stirring ain't going to work. Look like a ball of something gooey after pouring powder inside the water. Almost pounded it after a couple minutes of shaking post a taste test until I looked down and saw they goo. So yea, you Really have to shake it up.

There it is ,anti oxidation vitamins. Bit C and Natural vitamin E ,vit E not based in water ,it flushes out to fast.
Green tea ,has studies done to help with liver function and help flush out antioxidants. I prefer hot but cold is always good.
Water with out added anything ,keep the kids clean. 6 liters per day, gallon and half .Water is what keeps body functioning properly.
