When is the best time to get blood work done

I’m currently 7 weeks into my protocol, I’m going to be getting my semi annual blood panel done plus Testosterone panel. When is the best time of the week to go. I’m currently taking 125mg of cypinate on Monday afternoons. I posted couple months ago about it. I generally feel pretty good right now but I want to make sure my levels are where I want them but don’t want to test too high in the peak or too low in the trough, recommendations please. I’m 43 years old, train 5+ times a week for 20 years all natural. 5’7, 160 lbs with 10-12% BF if I had to guess. Very lean. Also here is the lists of tests I’m getting done as to get all the information out.

Testosterone panel from 4 months ago

Testosterone - 17.6 nmol/L
Free testosterone - 333 pmol/L
PSA - 0.55 ug/L
Prolactin - 9.69 ug/L
LH - 2.9 IU/L
FSH - 2.7 IU/L
Estradiol - 55 pmol/L
TSH - 1.95 mIU/L

If you’re pinning once a week you will have highs and lows. It might be a significant swing.

Have you considered maybe twice a week? Cut your dose in half and pin Monday and Thursday.

At 4 days, cypionate tends to nose dive. So by day 7 your levels could be very low then shoot back up when you dose. This is not ideal and can lead to problems.

I did not answer your question.

If you test day 2 or 3 you’ll see the high. On day 5 or 6 it will be low. Only pinning once a week it will not be accurate. You’ll be getting a snapshot of your test levels passing up or down thru ideal…

I hope this makes sense. If not, come back with questions and I or someone else will try and explain it better.

I’d definitely be open to pinning twice and splitting the dose but I was hoping to make that decision after having my blood work done. I’ve read conflicting data on the subject so I’d like to get a gauge on how it reacts for me personally. So if I pin on just Mondays as of now, getting Bloodwork Friday should show a good idea of the trough?

Yep… you’ll get a snapshot of your test levels on the way down.

Everyone is different. But that should be a good indicator.

I can say that what you read might have been about a different ester attached to the testosterone.
I like that you are getting blood work though to prove it to yourself its also great Harm Reduction were big on that so I look forward to seeing were your at once a week pins compared to 2x a week pins.
I will say that @Poppy is correct on the pull days so try to land in the middle to get the best results.
In honesty the more you pin the more stable your levels will be most bbers are now microdosing which is them pinning everything everyday no matter the ester to make sure that they are as stable as possible.

I look forward to seeing your results brother

So you been training for 20 years 5x a week and you weigh 160? How much did you weigh when you started training a 100lbs? I’m curious

And what @Poppy said 1x a week pinning is doin a disservice to your body, twice a week will keep your levels way more stable, there a very, very few guys pinning a long ester once a week…

Come back with questions if this isn’t 100% clear. We/you have to get this right.

I too am curious to what your labs will show.

I have always pinned e4d and closed it in to e3d a few months ago. That just works best for me vs the same days every week… Personal choice.

I’ll definitely keep u guys updated I appreciate the response. And as I said earlier I have always been all natural. Doing TRT as a part of my anti aging regime. I’ll attach a few pictures. I may be crazy but I think I look pretty good for my age. This is in response to the member who things I should be 200 pounds at 5’7 Natural. Lol!!!

As I said from the beginning, I’m not interested in getting big. Never been my thing. Lean, athletic and functional is my goal. Now that I’m 43 I’ve added TRT to my anti aging protocol. I appreciate all the responses tho. As soon as i get lab results I’ll post and get some opinions on where to go from there.
