Bodybuilding Against The Grain

Yeah I was looking in the mirror and notice something was off and shrinking... Skimming through my plan... Chest shoulder and tri day is really chest front delt and tricep day... Shited on myself last two weeks .. oh I'm going to be adding exercises and extending the work out . Doing the ppl routine and sharing the workout with different muscles groups definitely no overexertion. Body does feel better strength,energy, and pump wise. Will be adding sides on push and rear on pull... Maybe some extra hamstring work as well.. legs feel awesome with the routine right now... Will do strength one day.. hypertrophy the next... Still hitting everything twice a week obviously
Delts can be spammed with no real fatuities being. Added
 
Day 38 back bis

2 warm up dead lifts

Dead lifts X4
Extra wide lat pull Downs X4
Dumbbell Rows X3 each
Street bar straight arm pull Downs X3
Single arm cable Rows X3 done simultaneously
Rope face pulls X3
Concentration curls X3 each
Standing easy curl bar X3
One alternating drop set db curls
Dumbbell shrugs X5

Ok I was goig to say it doesn’t look like you’ve really added any fat. You could probably push the food more. But it’s also great to just be adding lean mass and a whole bunch fat covering up the hard work
Ive been revamping some things on top of the work outs. Working definitely limits meal times . I'm in I though bro thank you .
 
Day 39 rest

Working in 85 degrees today I'm not famished but playing it smart. With gym closing at 8 I only get some much time to recoup getting off at 430. Plus the drive. Will work out Sunday to make up. Definitely burned off some calories today. Will hit legs tomorrow...
 
Day 40 legs

2 warm up back squats

Back squats X4
Leg press x8
BB RDL x5
Seated leg curls x5
Leg extensions X5
Calves raises smith machine x5
Horizontal leg press calf press toes inward X5
Horizontal leg press calf press toes straight drop set x1

Weekend is here. Already have been doing some critical thinking . Will really be able to hone it in now with work out the way. Month of June is make or break.
 
Day 41. Chest Shoulders Triceps


5 warm ups flat bench

Bench press BB 5x5
Incline bench BB 4x10
Overhead press dumbbells 4x8
Lateral raise db drop set 4x13 4x13
Close grip bench press 4x10
Overhead dumbbell tricep extensions 3x12
Rope pulldowns 4x13 last set drop set
Bent over db reverse flies 4x15

Was going to superset cable laterals with DB laterals. Of course two kids are on the damn cables so I opted for the db drop sets instead. Keeping it moving. Enjoying the forced change up. Reverse flies I had planned after the laterals but forgot and just threw them at the end. Far as the db tricep extensions never played with those much. Tried two db standing doing simultaneously did not like. Tried the seated version utilizing one dumbbell with both hands did not like. The standing version using both hands one db I did like. Arms were so pumped range of motion felt limited but I made sure I got a GOOD STRETCH. Thats all.

Day 42. Back bis traps

4 warm ups assisted pullups

Assisted pullups 5x8
Bent over BB rows 5x8
Seated cable rows wide 4x12
Rope face pulls high to eyes 4x15
Db shrugs 4x15
Barbell upright rows wide 4x12
Ez bar curls 4x10
Concentration curls 3x10each
Db curls 2x10
Db curls drop set x4 at least... Kept on going until they kicked me out... So at least 6 sets total between regular sets and drops sets🤷...

I always try to maybe do more sets like yours but I feel like if I can do more than three it’s not heavy enough haha. I really like two sets hitting goal then 3rd set maybe not or Hveing to use some english
