Astros “2009” Growth Log

Update: I screwed myself yesterday by falling behind on my meals. Got back home close to 9pm from a 2.5 mile walk and tried to catch up. Made a ridiculous fruity pebbles bowl with multiple scoops of whey, almond milk, Greek yogurt and topped it off with a pistachio frozen Greek yoghurt bar. It made me uncomfortably bloated right away, but didn’t think much of it. Woke up feeling hot middle of the night with extreme bloat. All day I’ve been dealing with this bloat that comes and goes and it’s extremely painful. Sick diarrhea as well, never had it this bad. The diarrhea is annoying, but the rises in body temp accompanied with heavy lethargy and extremely painful bloated stomach destroyed me today. Feel like my stomach is gonna rupture when it hits really bad. Was only able to eat one meal all day, which was followed by immediate painful bloat. I’m hungry, but I’m scared of getting bloated like that again, I feel decent at the moment. We’ll see what tomorrow brings, check ins are tomorrow as well, so it is what it is looks like a solid week gonna end up being a waste. Oh well, we’ll see what check ins bring.

Sorry to hear. Thanks for the update. What was the hospitalization for?
I was diagnosed with ileus, which essentially my intestines stopped working and moving/breaking down food. Problem was original cat scan showed a lot of backed up stool with air/gas pockets all over my colon. I had major abdominal distention, looked like I was pregnant… so they ran a nasogastric tube down my nose to my stomach to try and pull food and or extract air/gas to relieve pressure. They had me borderline requiring surgery, which I found out days later they thought they’d seen a blockage in my digestive track which would’ve required to get open up. Luckily after 48Hrs of being fasted with a tube down my nose and 30 thousand laxatives and other “tricks” later, my distension went away as well as pain and follow up scan didn’t show a blockage anymore, so I was released. Still had bloating and issues the following days, I’d say it’s better now, but I ain’t 100% still gotta watch what I eat.

This was all following my April 11 update and what I had going on then.

Well fuck all of sudden my issues with bac that have seemed to run their course don’t seem so bad. I was prepared to take a stool softener every three days if I had to to keep things moving I’ve felt that much better overall

Thanks for get back. Sorry to hear about your medical issue. That shit is wicked crazy when your body acts up like that. Had a homeboy who's intestines tied themselves in a knot ( for whatever reason) and they had to go in surgically to fix it. But anyways dawg wishing you a speedy recovery. Sorry you had to drop out was looking forward to it.....
