Based on the tracking, it seems you run your protein intake higher or sometimes equal to carb intake.

Do you respond well to have a higher protein intake versus traditional of having carbs high??

I worked with a coach this year who took me from 240 to 213. The macros were 300 p, 350 c, 50 f. training days and 300 p 250 c 64 f resy days.

That makes sense! Sounds like he was trying to lean you out as much as possible BF% wise and then reset your insulin sensitivity, before weening you back up in macros to do what they call a mass or lean gaining phase, versus the old school days of dirty bulk that left you chubby, strong, and no muscle definition.

It’s a hard game when it comes to diet and macro balance based on goals, but most good coaches know how to slowly take away or introduce what is needed in the Carbs, Fats, and Protein arena.

I’m a whiz at knowing what I need to be at for maintenance and leaning out, but I suck ass at trying to figure out how to slowly incorporate for a gaining phase.
