"bodybuilding" has made me develop a hatred for food

I like how this thread went from food to EDC… (every day carry, for those who don’t know the acronym)
haha!
I carry a Kershaw Random Leek.(s30v) I’ve had it for 7-8 years now and never once had any issues with it.
I even carry with my dress pants/slacks (that work life)…
Fell out of my pocket once while I was riding my motorcycle, found it the next day, zero issues.

A kukri has a different edge geometry, the curved design allows for the upward curve to provide more chopping power being closer to the handle and the forward curve of the blade to be used for slicing. They are usually thicker and made of much higher grade steel as well. It’s a completely different blade from the machete on all facets.

I’ve owned a couple, usually received second hand or as a gift, but I’m really not a fan of knives I can grab from the camping section in Walmart. I just find they don’t hold up that well overtime. I was constantly having to sharpen mine. Regardless of price, I abuse the shit out of my knives and I just find the more expensive knives take far more abuse.

I probably have another 10 knives or so but I’m not digging through all my shit to get them out

I designed that one and had it made by a guy I know. We called it the Combat Cleaver. The same guy also made the Viking Seax above it

Side story since you mentioned it… that was a custom blade, designed by me and after the first one, he ended up taking the design and making like 20 more for people after he posted it on instagram. Kind of bullshit he didn’t even have the courtesy to ask me if that was ok

I have a strong background in knife and stick fighting. I currently hold a brown belt in Presas Arnis which is my most recent ranking but prior to that I have studied Pencak Silat, Kombaton, Kali and Kojekimbo. All are almost strictly knife and stick arts. If ever there is a time that I don’t or can’t have a firearm the more primitive weapons will need to be used. Bet your ass if I have a knife or a stick available I’ll be doing just fine lol

lol… nice. I don’t rely on the pistol …truth is if anything goes down I am not above using what ever I can get my hands on. most people give me a pretty wide space when I am pretending to be social anyway 😉

Met CHAOS twice in OIF. briefed him and gave him a tour of the equipment we used in the War. Met him again in 04 during operation phantom fury. Humble man. But a leader. I’d follow him to hell with a squirt gun.
