Food prepping, who does it and how do you do it?

We have an insta pot and my favorite is to cook boneless ribs in it and it makes the best carnitas in about an 1 1/2 hours. The shit is just as good as the Authentic Mexican restaurant (with the little old Mexican ladies cooking). Then I use the rice cooker to make Spanish rice that’s real good to. It’s nice to switch it up when you eat rice a lot. I could eat these two things all week.

I put all the chicken in, then use a dry seasoning. I love taco seasoning. Put on low for 8 hours. Remove chicken from cooker before shredding. Once shredded, I’ll add back a small amount of liquid from the cooker for a little moisture. I use chicken breast so it’s on the drier side. But I add sugar free ketchup, sugar free bbq sauce, hot sauce, etc to moisten them birds up before I eat

Oh I’m sure. Down here in the summer… when the ac goes out folks throw money at you guys… whatever it takes to cool this house down! Hahaha

Yeah those suck. If it’s a install, we get the refrigerant side all hooked up before ductwork then blast the ac in the attic while running duct. Service side is just work as quick as you can, be smart and take breaks, Chuy Gatorade throughout the day. Gatorade is my best friend in the summer. It’s taxing though, wears everyone out quick and it’s just busy as all hell

I did some work in the attic last summer and thought I was going to die from heat stroke that’s smart running the ac while installing

I’ve got to know our local guys that we use. I tip them well along with lunch and running an extension cord and fan up top for them. It’s freakn brutal!!!

Our service guy is literally 6’6” and every bit of 300lbs. Smart as a whip. That big dude can squeeze into spots I never thought possible.

I cook 5 large sweet potatoes, usually 3 lbs of chicken breast, 3 lbs of thigh, 3 lbs 85/15 ground beef, and 2-3 lbs of flank or NY Strip, jasmine rice, asparagus, Brussels sprouts and corn/black beans combo on Sunday, and we have it for the whole week. I pack my food every AM, and my wife does her own food through the day

I eat other stuff that’s just what I prep three meals of that and the other is breakfast and then what ever I feel like then days I don’t work I mix things up
