That was probably an old ass bear. These new bears are hybrids ive heard that brown and black are mating and the brown with polar bears.

Lake Sturgeon are fun to catch, can see them in the rivers around here too, they can get up to 7’ long. Not really great eating, most people smoke em.

I’ve read that too, brown bears are more aggressive, so they figure they are taking over many of the areas of the polar and black bears.

He was huge. My guys had been working there. So you can’t see how big his body was for the brush in the way. We see bear all day every day when they start moving. There’s a momma with two cubs in our work area every day for the past two weeks.

What happened to him the injury?

I’m not sure. I couldn’t tell. He wasn’t aggressive towards me but I still didn’t want to get too close. When he walked up on me, he was holding his right paw up. I figured it was a cut or something in his paw. Probably an easy fix but couldn’t ever get anyone to respond. I felt bad for the big guy. You could tell he was in pain. People kept trying to get pictures. I was having to run tourist off before he ate one of them. Best believe someone would have showed up then.

She has probably been brought to a rescue before and released after they healed her up its a possibility that she remembers and was looking for help

It’s a possibility. I felt bad there was nothing I could do.

I’m going camping this Friday to Monday I’m sure we will see some, but like usual a weapon will be close.

I don’t mess with animals most times unless I intend to eat them but if I catch any animal in my garbage they are dead meat if I know there animals but I don’t make it easy for them It’s a pet peeve
